Gratitude Thursday

Gratitude Thursday

Hi Guys,

I watched one of my friends start the Gratitude Jar Initiative. Initially, I was like I always write it down. But at the end of the day, I won’t remember to give thanks even for the little things. I decided to join and created my gratitude jar. Each day, when something I’m grateful for happens, I instantly pen it and keep to be deposited into my jar.

This year has started on an amazing note for me. I hope its the same for you readers, if not why don’t you join me in the gratitude jar challenge and trust me you will count your blessings. Encourage yourself and get as many people to join so you can share with someone if you choose to.

In celebration of Gratitude Thursday, I am wearing a #MadeinNigeria outfit by this amazing designer and friend. I am grateful for people who favour me by going the extra mile. Please let me know what you are grateful for in the comments section. I would love to hear from my readers.

Please follow me on instagram to see more behind the scenes.

You have the most amazing posts, and the venues beautiful. I have been on your website looking your content for a while now and i love your fashion sense and the way you tie everything together with an amazing venue. I just started blogging and wandering if you can give me some helpful pointers. I am also based in calgary and have just had the courage to venture out and start a fashion and lifestyle blog. I have the passion and love for fashion, but never thought it possible to try something like this. Pointers on good venues, and how to improve my website. I have been working on the quality of my pictures. I would appreciate your help Thank you

Hi Sandra, Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate it. Congrats on starting the blog. That’s a big step and you have done that. There are loads of venues in Calgary and even minutes outside Calgary. You can use subway stations, restaurants, parks and can even go to banff (summer of course and it’s an adventure). Your readers want to you to be relatable and authentic in your personality. To improve your website, you can work on the quality of your pics (@aobyyc takes amazing pics for me but you will have to pay to get the kind of pics you want). Also, be consistent, it’s been working for me. You can also look at other bloggers website to learn few things from them. I hope this helps. Have a beautiful day ahead.
