I woke up on Saturday angry. I can tell you it literally disrupted my whole day and seeing people wearing different colours did make me smile but I ended up going back to bed angry. I do feel better today, but then I woke up with a bad headache from thinking so much or probably my salt intake or being low on sugar. I would love to know, have you ever woken up angry before? What’s your remedy? Please share so maybe I can do that next time.
March is finally here and I have been so excited to share with you spring inspired outfits even if the Calgary weather is not warming up. I am waiting for the first day of spring but in the meantime I will be sharing trends and colours to wear for spring. I hope you are excited as I am for all the amazing spring colours and patterns. I will be focusing on pastels for the next couple of weeks. If you don’t know, black is my go-to colour but there are so many colours that when I see, it honestly makes me smile and that’s why I blog in some many colours.
Pastels are totally in season for Spring 2018. I love the soft tones which makes it perfect for warmer temperatures. Pastels were seen on the runway Spring/Summer 2018 with designers Céline, Hermes and Victoria Beckham. The pastel hues makes me think of ice cream and anyone who knows me knows I love Ice-Cream. I started this series with Mint Green and seeing this pleated skirt just made me want to have it in different colours. I kept it safe with mint green by pairing it with a mint green lace top which was only $20. I paired my outfit with blush earrings and rose gold sandals. I got this clutch from value village 5 years ago and I can say I hardly used it. So, there I was thinking of which bag to pair with my outfit and was like “what about that green vintage bag?” and there it was, the perfect contrast. You can always pair mint green with different pastel hues like peach, pink and even lilac.
Have a great week ahead:)
