Spring Trends 2018: Pastel Heaven Series – Dusty Rose

Another day in Pastel heaven and I have to say I was so excited for this look. My week has been really busy. How about yours? Anything interesting? I started off with a night out with Winners and Marshalls. Thank you Winners and Marshalls for hosting me, it was so much fun and you would have seen my insta-stories to see the amazing food I devoured and the bloggers I hung out with. I was surprised with a gift card worth $100 which would be maxed out tomorrow as I have my eyes on a Lucy Paris striped jumpsuit which is perfect for spring.

One of the spring colours this year is dusty rose (somewhat of a pinky peach if I may say) and I’m loving it. I love living my life in colour so I decided to pair this fun flirty dress (currently on sale) with burnt orange. I saw this at H&M and couldn’t get my eyes off them so I had to get them. I wanted to create a good contrast with the dusty rose and loved how the look turned out.

Have you heard of the brand Theory? I recently heard about them and I have to say I absolutely love the brand. They carry pieces that are comfortable and alluring. They cater to the young business woman who wants to dress it up for work but keeping it trendy and also have amazing basics. I am not surprised to know Elie Tahari is behind this brand because Tahari pieces are just impeccable.

I wanted to pair the outfit with Alexander Birman nude sandals but my size was gone and opted for this taupe Zara sandals with gold details (such a great buy, got them on sale for $40 but it’s no longer available). I have linked similar affordable shoes below. Shoutout to my photographer for all these amazing locations, I honestly felt I was in London, UK.
