Happy Easter Everyone! Hope you have been enjoying the long weekend. I have been under the weather but I had no content so I had to get myself up to get more content for the blog. I usually have no easter traditions but I wanted to bring you my Easter whites today. The first time I saw this off the shoulder dress on the rack, I will admit I wasn’t so thrilled about it but in my quest to find the perfect Easter white dress, I decided to give it a go. I was amazed, it was the perfect fit. I have lost weight recently and I’m loving my new body (I have been advised to eat Mcflurry everyday to get my hips back lol).
A little background on Alice+Olivia, it’s a contemporary clothing company based in New York. Did you know the boutiques are designed by the creative director, Stacey Bendet? I have been watching this brand for a while and I have to say I am now a believer and a fan of the brand. Time to add up more spring dresses from the collection.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I am sticking to indoor locations until spring truly arrives in Calgary. I went downtown with my photographer and I can’t believe I never thought about Devonian Gardens (indoor) for a shoot. It was the perfect place to show the contrast with my white dress and there’s so much you can do with the space. I decided to pair my white dress with pink/red and i’m in love with my pink duster (feels so comfortable and warm) which is perfect for Spring. I am inspired by art and fell in love with this bag because of its architectural element.
What are your Easter Traditions? I can’t recall any except going to church. I got my dress from Saks Fifth Avenue in Calgary so if you are in Calgary, you can check it out or you can shop my entire look and similar white dresses below 🙂
Have a beautiful Easter weekend 🙂
