My Stampede Look

My Stampede Look

Hi,

Yesterday was a long day but it was fun (check previous post & instastories).

Calgary Stampede runs from July 6 – July 15 2018 and the biggest event in Calgary bringing tourists from all over the world. From chuckwagon races, world-famous rodeo, concerts, food (creative combos), attractions all celebrating western heritage.

If you were wondering what outfit I wore to the Stampede grounds, here it is. I wanted something chic yet casual. ┬áIt’s not secret that plaid shirts are one of the key elements for stampede style. I didn’t want the typical button down plaid shirt so I opted for an off-shoulder plaid top creating a more chic look. What do you think of the bold red lips? Calgary MUA Annika slayed this face, if you are dark-skinned and looking for a makeup artist she’s the ONE.

One thing you must have when you attend Calgary Stampede, MINI-DONUTS. They are the absolute best, comes in different flavours and tastes amazing. What would you say is the perfect daily amount ($) to have for Stampede? I would say $100. The food selection is everything and I’m trying to have my summer bod so trying not to be distracted. I didn’t spend much time at Stampede so I’m going to create a “must visit” list of food spots and activities.

I can’t remember the last time I wore a denim skirt but I love that it’s high-waisted and the button dow detail adds more character.

Fanny packs or should I say belt bags are in trend right now. I particularly love the color and it does have that western vibe going on so I couldn’t pass on it.

I am looking forward to attending Stampede on Friday. Are you wondering which outfit made my list, find out via Instagram

Oh don’t forget to enter my giveaway. Entry details on Insta:)
