Stampede Styling – Collaboration with Southcentre Mall

Stampede Styling – Collaboration with Southcentre Mall

Hi,

Sometime last week, a PR company reached out to me after watching a few of my insta-stories asking if I was interested in a stampede style focused partnership with Southcentre Mall. I wasn’t really planning to attend Stampede this year but this was a good push. If you are wondering what is stampede? Calgary Stampede is the greatest outdoor show on earth celebrating western heritage, culture and community spirit. So back to my story:), I was so excited and I accepted the challenge. why? It was because I’m not one to dress up as a cowgirl so I was pretty sure there were more women like me having that same mentality. I wanted to show the different stampede chic looks based on my personality and style. So this is also a recap of my day finding the right outfits for stampede.

I started out with getting my makeup done by Annika, Calgary based makeup artist and it was a nice experience to have my followers get ready with me via Instagram Live. She definitely made me look like a stampede beauty and loved the makeup. The makeup lasted until I got home by 11PM. Guys, I have to be honest, my face didn’t feel like I had makeup on at all, thanks to all the amazing products. I will update this post with the makeup products used so you can definitely get them.

After my makeup appointment, I went to Southcentre Mall (check out my insta-stories) and I had so much fun (spent about 7 hours and I didn’t notice). Honestly, it was one of my best shopping experience till date. I picked my gift card at the Guest services with no hassle and started my quest for Calgary stampede outfits.

The first store I visited was Below The Belt. Do you believe I have been in Calgary for years and I had never visited the store. I was pleasantly shocked to see the brands carried and the little gems found in there. You can check out the looks I came up with on my insta-stories. Sneak peek of one of my favourite, the classic Levis denim dress – a casual approach.

I headed down to Sporting Life and funny enough, one of my friends said she was shocked to see the pieces I put together because she thought the store was all sportswear, So if you are reading this, Sporting Life showcases great brands and I was too excited to create chic stampede looks 🙂

I also checked out Topshop at the Bay and these were stampede inspired looks – black and white theme.

I headed over to BLU’s and I have to say this store is BOSS LADY vibes. I felt confident in the outfits and loved how I styled the Smythe blazer.  After all my shopping, I couldn’t help but stop at Restoration Hardware. I love everything about home decor, I usually find inspiration for my posts just looking at colour palettes and creative home accents. I do appreciate everyone who tuned in and followed me throughout the day and I have a big surprise for YOU.

Find out how you can win $100 gift card at Southcentre mall on my Instagram page.

Thank you Southcentre mall for the great opportunity and looking forward to many more:).

Have a great day:)
