Self Love is True Love – Blog Anniversary

Hi,

Valentine’s day is special for me because two years ago I officially started blogging and I can’t believe the years have gone by so fast. It sure doesn’t seem like it but I am so grateful to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Yes, I had times where I was tired and I had no motivation but you guys have always encouraged me every step of the way. I remember when I first started and wished I was working with certain brands and now I am so grateful for all the collaborations with amazing brands. On my first year anniversary, I set goals for myself, hoping I would reach 10k followers on Instagram on my second year anniversary (no, i didn’t accomplish that goal) but I will keep working consistently and things will happen at the right time. I am looking forward to greater opportunities & partnerships, taking my blog to the next level and staying true to who I am (on-going journey). A big thank you to every photographer that has worked with me, you’ve made it so easy for me and I honestly appreciate the love.

Casual Sunday Vibes

Hi Guys,

It’s another cold day in Calgary, currently -17 degrees celsius and it means another indoor shoot for me. There are so many spots to take pictures in Calgary and utilizing the mall has just been fantastic. Have you been to Sporting Life at South Centre mall? The interior decor is totally amazing and when I was thinking of a nice spot for my shoot, it was my go-to location.

One with Nature

Hi,

It’s been freezing cold in Calgary and please can someone just send me a paid flight ticket to Bora Bora (lol). In my quest of rediscovery, I tried something new. I attended a paint nite event yesterday and I have to admit it was a different experience for me. I get inspirations from art but it was tough for me trying to put everything together. I studied Engineering in school and I thought that was tough but I think I met a contender last night. The instructor told me to let go and have fun but I was overthinking everything because I wanted my painting to be perfect. So, lesson learnt, in everything you do, learn to have fun and don’t take things too serious. I’m adding this to my list of ” Things to do in Calgary” and  I would recommend this activity if you just need to relax.

New Dawn, New Day – Dark Prints

Hi,

This is my first post in 2018. I have been missing in action for so long. All I can say is ” New Dawn, New Day” and time to put in the work in every area of my life. I have no new year resolutions because I realized I never follow them through and yes i’m tired of those. I need to rediscover myself this year and I started reading. I am obsessed with movies, I can literally stay indoors and watch movies all day but I decided to focus my energy on other adventures like reading a book each week (mind you it’s not a resolution).

Cherry Wine – Collaboration with Madam Glam

Hi,

Last look I want to share. I have to say that this look in 2017 got me a spot on #HMGallery. I was shocked when H&M asked me if they could use my picture on their website, it was such a feel good moment. I paired this top with burgundy pants by a Nigerian designer. If you have noticed on my blog, I rarely wear red lipstick. Madam Glam contacted me and I chose the 3 lipsticks from the collection. I was a little bit iffy about cherry wine but picked it. I got the product and I couldn’t help but fall in love with Cherry wine. You can see more of the look below.
