#YYCBloggerFallChallenge – Falling For Camel

Hi,

Happy Monday!

Couple of weeks ago, I came up with an initiative and included Calgary bloggers. The $100 YYC Blogger Fall Challenge is an initiative where we show our followers and people how to look good this fall within a budget of $100. The rule of the challenge is to come up with as many looks as possible within a budget of $100 (excluding shoes and accessories).
I wanted to include fall colours for the challenge so I picked two colours, camel and burgundy. You all know how I feel about black, I’m sold on it so I decided to get a camel open knit cardigan to complete the look. I wanted to keep it simple and fresh. What do you think of this look? It is so easy to replicate. Outfits details below. You can shop my looks/similar styles on my sidebar.

Olive You…

Hi,

I’ve been feeling under the weather lately but work continues. The weather in Calgary changes, one minute it’s sunny, the next it’s cloudy and snowing. That was the story on my shoot day. I am not a nature girl but I love to appreciate scenic views. The view of the city line is everything. Typically, people hike to get to the top to appreciate the view but I have a confession I don’t like hiking but I’m willing to try it but not anytime soon. If you are looking for a great place to take pics, work-out or just a night walk, this is the place McHugh Bluff Park. There was no place to shoot this olive sweater dress and I just wanted this view as my backdrop.

Something About Black….

Hi,

First, I want to say thank you for the love on my last post. People who reached out on my social media platforms and here, thank you!

I have been revamping my page on Instagram and I am totally loving showing all the things that inspire me and love (most of the items are on wish lists, lol). Over the next couple of days, you will prolly see me rocking black a whole lot. There is something about black I love, I can’t just explain it…black outfits just make you look great and timeless. But for me, its not just outfits, even interior decor, a mixture of black and white or black and gold is heavenly.

How To Dress Like A Boss: Plaid it Monday

Hi,

Happy New Month of October!

It is snowing here in Calgary, as I am writing this post, I don’t know if I’m excited about that though. My weekend was amazing, I watched Sound of Music on broadway and it was spectacular. I almost shed a tear at the end of the show, but my tear was too shy to come out hehe. Okay, let me serious, I will recommend you to watch the broadway show. Do you believe I haven’t still seen Lion King on Broadway, I need to asap.

It’s a new week and how do you dress like a boss to work? You want to look confident and ready for any challenge but still look fabulous (Oh yes, without breaking the bank lol). Plaid is definitely a trend this Fall 2017 and I am so for it. I don’t think there are truly any secrets to dressing like a boss, I believe in wearing what makes you feel like a boss! If you work in the professional world, then your style should reflect well put together and tailored outfits but still looking effortless.
