How are you all doing? Before this shoot, I was wearing these over the knee boots, heard a pop and fell to the ground. Thank God I can walk is what the doctor said so that means it might not be that serious. I am still waiting for my scan results, really praying everything is ok.
In other news, it is Halloween weekend, I don’t celebrate halloween but I love everything that has to do with pumpkins. I got inspired by the orange colour and found this dress. It is getting cold in Calgary now and its going to snow this week, not looking forward to that. On my Instagram page, I have been showing my love for different things apart from fashion and doing this makes me pay more attention to my location venues for my shoots. I finally did a video shoot also and I cannot wait for the video. I saw this dress and love the knot detail and the fabric just made me fall in love.
I am taking over LifeInCalgary’s Instagram page and I have to say I am completely nervous but excited at the same time. This would be my first takeover and will give you access to a life as a fashion blogger. The takeover starts on Monday Oct 30th – Nov 5th 2017. Please support and check it out. I was telling my friend that it is funny how you go after certain things, you get it and you feel so nervous and start asking questions. Are you good enough? She encouraged me and said you can do anything. So I want to encourage someone today, your dreams should scare you and motivate you to be better. Always give your 110% because you don’t know who is watching.
Check below for outfit details.
Yesterday, I attended SPICE TV’s Fashion Meets Tech Happy Hour Event and it was insightful. There was a panel discussion where panelists expressed their own experiences with the impact of technology on fashion.
You cannot spend summer in Calgary without going for festivals. One of the beautiful summer festivals is the Inglewood Sunfest. This is such an amazing festival done in the street of Inglewood. It showcases the community and the culture. I love food and as soon as I heard food trucks, I was like count me in.
The festival was on Saturday, July 30th 2016 and started about 11am. I got there by 1pm and I loved every minute of it. Vintage cars was definitely the icing on the cake to local arts and crafts, local bands and mini donuts (so good).
Loads of dancing too, you can’t go to a festival and not dance hehe. Last minute I threw pieces together and decided to tie a head band. I fell in love with the whole look and hope you love it as much as I do.
If you have never heard of Inglewood Sunfest festival, please check it out and definitely have it on your to-do list for next summer.
P.S Do you like the new face of my website? I am so happy for the journey so far.

Have a beautiful weekend!
I was driving downtown Calgary and came across Alforno Bakery & Cafe and couldn’t resist. The building is super attractive and I was curious. I knew I had to explore the place especially after seeing the gold doors. I walked in and the decor blew me away. The modern, minimalistic yet luxury decor wowed me and the customer service by Sierra was top notch. Alforno Bakery & Cafe have warm and friendly staff and my perception was “I bet the food won’t be that good”.
So I ordered the Lasagna with a side salad and I was waiting to say “I said so” but they proved me wrong. The lasagna was well done and permit me to say they have the “Best Salad” in Calgary. If you are in Calgary, please check out Alforno Bakery & Cafe, you won’t be disappointed. I’m looking forward to my next visit for the pastries….I can’t wait.
