#MadeinNigeria Series:Nigerian Designer Spotlight – Wanger Ayu

Hi,

How is your week going?

We have another designer featured in the #MadeinNigeria series.

I am celebrating Nigerian brands and the amazing talents in Nigeria. I noticed the brand, Wanger Ayu on social media (instagram) and finally met the creative behind the brand last year October. I must say she has a humble and sweet personality and love her pieces. If you  recall, I wore the AMIRA dress from the A/W 16-17 collection during fashion week (click here).  Her pieces are definitely one word CHIC.

I am excited to know more about the brand and the success story. Read all about my chat with Designer Wanger Ayu below.

#MadeinNigeria Series: Nigerian Designer Spotlight – BOYA APPARELS

Hi,

How was your weekend? Mine was relaxing. I am starting a #MadeinNigeria Series this New Week and I’ve got a new Designer on the spotlight today. I love finding Nigerian Brands and in support of #MadeinNigeria products.

My sister wore a top from this designer, I liked it and wanted to know about the brand. I spoke to the designer, such a humble and funny personality and conducted a mini-interview  (LOL) to learn about his brand. This brand has been seen on many people from media personality Lamide and Zainab Balogun to Top Model Tarmar Awobotu. I am starting my week with a simple yet classy look from the brand. Guess the price tag of my dress? Let’s find out below.

Are you ready to Join the Mesh-Net Gang

Couple of weeks ago, I came across AmarelisAtelier on Instagram and I loved their look book collection and couldn’t help but get my hands on it. You know the caption “I wish that every time I liked an outfit on Instagram, it would magically appear in my closet”, that’s exactly what I did LOL (but no magical part). I was inspired after seeing this skirt, I knew I wanted my readers to see how I put the look together. You can see how playful I am through my pictures, I can’t remember what was said by my amazing team but its always fun working with them. I paired my mesh skirt with an off-white cami top and the choker (LIFE…) just adds the swag alongside with my DAPMOD shades. The lippie I used was somewhat grey which is completely different from my usual lippie look. The mules gives the outfit a casual yet classy look.

Readers, I would love to know, would you rock this outfit to any occasion? Let me know in the comment section.
