Gratitude Thursday

Hi Guys,

I watched one of my friends start the Gratitude Jar Initiative. Initially, I was like I always write it down. But at the end of the day, I won’t remember to give thanks even for the little things. I decided to join and created my gratitude jar. Each day, when something I’m grateful for happens, I instantly pen it and keep to be deposited into my jar.

This year has started on an amazing note for me. I hope its the same for you readers, if not why don’t you join me in the gratitude jar challenge and trust me you will count your blessings. Encourage yourself and get as many people to join so you can share with someone if you choose to.

My Christmas Countdown 2016: Collaboration with Maju – Part 2

Hi Guys,

4 sleeps left till Christmas 2016. Excited is an understatement, you can tell in my shoot (dancing away).

Velvet is a big trend for Fall Fashion 2016 and many designers can’t seem to get enough of the rich and luxe look. Velvet trends can be seen with Balmain, Givenchy and Stella McCartney during Paris Fashion Week Fall 2016. This fabric is a classic staple and making a BANGING comeback. I remember in the 90s’ when my mum bought me velvet, I dreaded it and now please bring all the velvet I will most definitely wear LOL.

Style Advice: Play with Colours

Hi Readers,

Hope you are having a great weekend. I love to play with colours and decided to pair this wine waist coat with camel pants. I love the contrast and finally paired with louboutin shoes.

You are probably wondering how do I know what colours to play with?

Tip 1: Personally, I say stick with colours that show your best assets and keep it within the same family of colours. For example, you can mix pastels on pastels, warm earthy colours with earthy colours.

Tip 2: Another trick is to look at a colour wheel and go for the popular saying “Opposites attract”. This is one simple and easier trick to work on colour mixing and graduate to more daring colour matches.

Any questions. please leave in the comment section.
