I am too excited to share all about this brand with you. When I thought about the #MadeinNigeria series, I came up with the list of brands to feature. I came across Osuare and fell in love with the authenticity in our culture through the hand crafted designs. In this life, growth happens when you move out of your comfort zone and take risks. I contacted them, blogged with the amazing pieces and got to know more about the brand. The brand has been featured in many publications and worn by many public figures.
What do you think about my new hair-do, i wanted something that would complement the african heritage that oozes out from the pieces. I am wearing a piece from the Unbroken SS16 Collection and paired with pearl earrings and black shoes. This is definitely a piece I can rock to a wedding? Would you?
How is your week going?
We have another designer featured in the #MadeinNigeria series.
I am celebrating Nigerian brands and the amazing talents in Nigeria. I noticed the brand, Wanger Ayu on social media (instagram) and finally met the creative behind the brand last year October. I must say she has a humble and sweet personality and love her pieces. If you recall, I wore the AMIRA dress from the A/W 16-17 collection during fashion week (click here). Her pieces are definitely one word CHIC.
I am excited to know more about the brand and the success story. Read all about my chat with Designer Wanger Ayu below.
How was your weekend? Mine was relaxing. I am starting a #MadeinNigeria Series this New Week and I’ve got a new Designer on the spotlight today. I love finding Nigerian Brands and in support of #MadeinNigeria products.
My sister wore a top from this designer, I liked it and wanted to know about the brand. I spoke to the designer, such a humble and funny personality and conducted a mini-interview (LOL) to learn about his brand. This brand has been seen on many people from media personality Lamide and Zainab Balogun to Top Model Tarmar Awobotu. I am starting my week with a simple yet classy look from the brand. Guess the price tag of my dress? Let’s find out below.
My weekend was definitely busy and I thought I won’t be able to blog but when you have God and amazing people who show up last minute, then you just have to deliver LOL. I got approached by the designer of The Keeper of the Wardrobe 3 weeks ago and I won’t lie I was shocked (not in a bad way). I was excited because for me, it meant someone loves my style and feedback that I’m doing something right. I have to say I love her pieces and the artistic vibe from the brand. I have gotten to know her a bit more and I have to say she’s amazing, talented and a hardworking person. These attributes are definitely translated to the pieces and you can’t help but fall in love with the brand.
I am wearing a green lace crop top and a fringe high waisted skirt. I felt comfortable, happy and sexy wearing this outfit. The slit in front was just the icing to the skirt. I just kept dancing when I wore the skirt, made me feeling like I could go compete in Dancing with the Stars..LOL
I think I have found my signature makeup look.. Nude lips & Smokey Eyes..Even my mother who complains about makeup was like A+ for your makeup and trust me that’s a big deal.
I definitely feel blessed and can’t wait to show you more outfits from the brand all through the week.

Have a Lovely Monday,
How to look Minimal Chic to work? You want to look sleek, classy and comfortable when heading to work. There’s nothing as sleek as pairing whites and greys. I am wearing culottes from Fruche and paired with a classic white shirt from MAJU collection. White shirts don’t have to be boring, the lace detail around the collar and the cut out is a definite WIN for me. I remember getting the sandals two years ago, sleeping in the shoe closet. But today, she definitely came out to play and she made me proud (LOL)…MAJU’s collection is chic and affordable and trust me you don’t have to break the bank to look good.
