How are you all doing? Before this shoot, I was wearing these over the knee boots, heard a pop and fell to the ground. Thank God I can walk is what the doctor said so that means it might not be that serious. I am still waiting for my scan results, really praying everything is ok.
In other news, it is Halloween weekend, I don’t celebrate halloween but I love everything that has to do with pumpkins. I got inspired by the orange colour and found this dress. It is getting cold in Calgary now and its going to snow this week, not looking forward to that. On my Instagram page, I have been showing my love for different things apart from fashion and doing this makes me pay more attention to my location venues for my shoots. I finally did a video shoot also and I cannot wait for the video. I saw this dress and love the knot detail and the fabric just made me fall in love.
I am taking over LifeInCalgary’s Instagram page and I have to say I am completely nervous but excited at the same time. This would be my first takeover and will give you access to a life as a fashion blogger. The takeover starts on Monday Oct 30th – Nov 5th 2017. Please support and check it out. I was telling my friend that it is funny how you go after certain things, you get it and you feel so nervous and start asking questions. Are you good enough? She encouraged me and said you can do anything. So I want to encourage someone today, your dreams should scare you and motivate you to be better. Always give your 110% because you don’t know who is watching.
Check below for outfit details.
What’s happening this labor weekend?
Summer is over but the weather has been good thus far. I went to try the famous buttermilk fine waffles in Calgary and I have to say I totally loved it. The atmosphere is totally awesome and you can mix and match any two waffles for only 14 CAD. If you haven’t been and you are in Calgary, check it out.
I wore my moroccan style print set and you can definitely dress it up in different ways. The kimono style blazer was one reason I was excited about this outfit.
Happy New Month:) Welcome to September! I love September because its my birthday month and I’m counting down. I am grateful for so many opportunities lately (will share later) and I am thankful to God for all he has done for me so far and what he is yet to do.
I love the shades of blue combo and my sunglasses.
How are you doing? New week and New challenges but remember to grab opportunities and take risks.
I have noticed a big trend colour this fall and I’m loving the pieces from dresses, jackets, pants and tops. It’s the colour Green but described on Pantone as “Lush meadows”. My love for Green is increasing rapidly each day and becoming one of my favourite Fall colour.
My motto this week is all about taking risks…..What’s yours?
I was watching basketball wives LA and I heard the song “Good as Hell” by Lizzo and loved it instantly. My shoot for this look, I was feeling good as hell and made a video (Check Instagram post later today). I got this burnt orange jumpsuit from Zara and really liked the loose fit. This is a simple fashion piece that can be worn during the summer and fall. I definitely rocked this piece for the summer (fall style with this piece coming up in a later post). Yes, I am working on my hair but in the meantime my head wrap is definitely playing a huge role (LOL). I paired my jumpsuit with Jimmy Choo Shoes (now on sale) and accessories from Value village.
